On Saturday, June 19, we'll be helping the Autism Society of Nebraska's first in-person event since the pandemic. In honor of Autistic Pride Day, we're going outdoors to watch Soul at the Autism Center of Nebraska. Sign up for shifts to volunteer here!
The Autism Society of Nebraska helps to support families with autistic individuals by building community and putting on events. Their mission is to improve the lives of autistic families. At the Autism Center of Nebraska, they work with Nebraskans with developmental disabilities and strive to improve quality of life.
If you're interested in attending their free outdoor movie, sign up for tickets here! Goodwill donations are appreciated. Soul is about a middle school band teacher, Joe, whose life hasn't quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz -- and he's good. But when he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have soul!
