Jennifer Anderson is the Perioperative Business Manager at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha; she is responsible for effective business operations and financial functions within the department of Surgical Services.  After spending nearly a decade as a patient at Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago, Jennifer knew her passion was to work in the children’s healthcare field.

Outside of work, Jennifer loves to volunteer with organizations dedicated to serving children.  One of her favorite yearly volunteer projects is with Camp CoHoLo, a summer camp for children impacted by cancer or blood disorders.  Jennifer has been a member of the Omaha Jaycees since 2013; she has served on the Board of Directors since 2014, including in the capacity of President in 2017.

Jennifer is a native of Illinois and completed her Bachelor of Science at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale; she also holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia.

After moving to Omaha in 2011 for a one-year fellowship, Jennifer thought she would only be in the city for a short tenure.  All these years later and Omaha has become her permanent place of residence.  Jennifer and her husband, Dan, were married in April 2018 on a sandy beach in Cancún, Mexico.
