Jennifer Anderson is excited to serve as the 2017 President of the Omaha Jaycees. She has previously serves as the Executive Vice President, Vice President of Individual Development, and Secretary for the organization. She has been a member of the Omaha Jaycees since 2013.
Jennifer is a native of Illinois and completed her Bachelor of Science at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois; she then completed her Master of Health Care Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
Jennifer moved to Omaha for a one-year fellowship after graduate school, and had planned to only stay in Omaha for that one year. That was in 2011, and she is still here! She is the business manager for the surgery department at Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha.
Hannah Young received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Northwest Missouri State University in December 2013. In August of 2016 she completed her Master’s in Public Administration from University of Nebraska Omaha. Hannah completed an internship with Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed in June 2013, she worked for Millard Public Schools from 2014-2015, and currently serves as the Public Policy and Events Manager at Nonprofit Association of the Midlands. In her free time, Hannah mentors through Girls. Inc. of Omaha, volunteers with the League of Women Voters-Greater Omaha chapter, is a member of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, and serves as Vice President of Communication in Omaha Jaycees.
She is a Missouri native, who relocated to Omaha, Nebraska in Summer 2014 and has one dog, Ralph.
Nina Larson is currently serving as the Vice President of Community Impact for the 2017 year. She has previously served as the Event Assistant for the 2017 TOYO Committee and was voted the 2016 New Member of the Year Award.
Nina is still new to Omaha but in addition to the Jaycees, she is also a member of the Omaha Running Club, volunteers with the Omaha Scottish Rite, and is looking to get even more involved in the community.
She is a native of South Dakota and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Electronic Media at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Go Yotes! She then completed her Masters degree in Public History at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.
Nina moved to Omaha upon graduation to work for Pegasus Travel as a Travel Consultant. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, her cat, Mo, and her pug, Lou Gehrig. When she is not sending people on adventures around the world or volunteering for the community, Nina is working on her goal to run a half marathon in every state (only 47 to go!), watching the Crimson Tide or the Yankees, going to $5 movie night with her friends, and depending on the weather she is camping or snowboarding.
Peter Wong is the current Director of Individual Development for the Omaha Jaycees.
Peter is a native of Texas and completed his Bachelors of Science at the University of Texas at Austin in computer science. Peter moved to the Omaha area for career opportunities in the software development field with Union Pacific Railroad.
In addition to his involvement with the Omaha Jaycees, Peter is an active member of Toastmasters International. He currently serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for the Rail talkers organization, a local Toastmasters chapter in the Omaha area.
2017 Vice President of Management: Nathan Jones
Nathan Jones led the way in organizing the 2016 Beer & Bacon festival in addition to being an active Jaycee member. He's an advocate for philanthropy and is always looking for creative ways to positively impact the Jaycees organization and its affiliated causes.
By day, Nathan can be found networking and developing relationships with regional business professionals, as he owns his own professional consulting firm. A refugee from Kansas, Nathan moved to the Omaha area in 2008 while attaining his BSBA from Midland University.
Married in April of 2016, Nathan and his wife Abbey are expecting twins summer of 2017! When he isn't spending time with Abbey and their dog Molly, Nathan can be found outside enjoying the seasons or refereeing soccer matches.
Ryan Kuehl is currently serving as the Vice President of Membership for the 2017-2018 year.
In addition to the Omaha Jaycees, Ryan has given back to several organizations including: Omaha Parks & Recreation Board Member, Catholic Charities Junior Board – Treasurer and Teammates Mentor at Creighton Prep.
Ryan was born and raised in Omaha. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Finance and completing an internship at Investors Realty, Inc. in 2013, Ryan joined the firm full time. Ryan is an active Commercial Real Estate broker specializing in the sales and leasing of Industrial and Office Buildings.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys golfing and cheering on his Jayhawks.
Brittany Vovolka is the Treasurer for the Omaha Jaycees and has been a member since 2013. In addition to being on the board, she has also been on the planning committee for the Ten Outstanding Young Omahans (TOYO!) awards banquet since 2015.
She grew up in Omaha, graduating from Westside in 2006, and is now settled in Dundee with her husband, Robin. She graduated from UNO with a BA in Mathematics in 2010 and a BSBA in Accounting in 2012. After spending some time in public accounting, she is currently an internal auditor at Kiewit. Her job involves working with other departments to evaluate and improve their processes and controls. Brittany earned her Nebraska CPA license in 2016.
Outside of work and the Jaycees, she is a 2017 Fellow with New Leaders Council Omaha and she is enrolled in the Masters of Accounting program at UNO. When she has real downtime, she loves to relax with her 11-year-old poodle mix, Boomer.
Maggie McGlade is a Marketing Events Specialist at CQuence Health Group, managing and directing all events under the CQuence umbrella. She is a past president of the Omaha Jaycees serving her term in 2016. She has also served as VP of membership and co-director of the Beer and Bacon Festival for three years raising over $30,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Outside of work Maggie is active with Meeting Professionals network and is striving to take her certified Meeting Professional exam, the highest accreditation one can receive within the hospitality industry. She is also involved in several other organizations that impact the community including being the Chairwomen for the 2017 Omaha Jaycees board. Maggie is a graduate from Johnson & Wales University Denver Campus.
Marco Kpeglo LeRoc is the current Chairman of the Board and the immediate past Co-President. He has served as the Vice President of Management, Vice President of Individual Development, and as the Ten Outstanding Young Omahans Director.
In addition, Marco serves on the board of the Hidden Talent Foundation and is the Fundraising Chair for the Douglas County Mental Health Center Foundation.
Marco is an Author, a Speaker, and a Certified Educator in Personal Finance. He is also the founder of Marco LeRoc & Co. He earned his degree in Accounting from Bellevue University.
Marco is married to Gina. He loves traveling and spending time with his family.
